Bicycle traffic

The bicycle is very much in vogue. It is one of the most important and most sustainable means of transportation. As the central lead partner for the promotion of cycling on behalf of the BMVD, the BALM is the first point of contact for a lot of questions referring to the funding and the promotion of bicycle traffic.
Thus, the BALM makes an essential contribution to the sustainable shaping of a safe, environmentally suitable mobility and to the accomplishment of the climate protection goals in the area of mobility.

Road freight transport

In the field of road freight transport, support programs are used that counteract the shortage of skilled workers in road freight transport, increase safety in road freight transport, reduce the negative effects of road freight transport on the environment and the climate and increase the industry-specific qualification of employees.

Public transport funding (ÖPNV)

Local public transport plays an important role in the implementation of the Federal Government’s Climate Protection Program 2030. The Federal Government is therefore supporting model projects in local public transport financially in addition to other measures.

ÖPNV

KsNI

HGV Parking Spaces

The aim of the funding is to improve the parking situation for trucks in the interest of traffic safety. To this end, incentives are to be created for the provision of 4,000 additional truck parking spaces near the motorway by private investors. The funding enables companies to acquire truck drivers as parking lot customers more or for the first time.
