Information about EETS

The aim of the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS or in German EEMD for "europäischer elektronischer Mautdienst") is to enable its users to access the European toll road network with a single contract and on-board unit from an EETS provider. This toll service shall complement the national electronic toll services of the Member States and ensure that the toll systems already in place in the Member States and those to be introduced in the future are interoperable across the EU for EETS users.
